Description

This is a well-maintained cruising yacht from the German boatbuilder Bavaria. It is a 40 foot Vision, 2 cabin version that was delivered modified for ocean sailing to a Danish couple in 2007. They ended in the Med. She is modified on many points. Heavier rig (surveyed in 2024 and accepted by my insurer), slab reefing, extra tankage for fuel, lots of electronics, NMEA 2000 network, recent new Volvo Penta 50 hp engine with new saildrive and prop (July 2026, 285 hours), new sails (main (slab reefing), genua and self-tacking jib on furlers (June 2026) Also in June 2026 extensive maintenance (hull, engine and outboard in Thessaloniki. New comfort electric toilet. Electric windlass and bowthruster. 600 Ah lithium batteries. Very large bathroom with new electric comfort toilet and shower. 2 board PC’s with 14 inch monitor, new (2026 AIS-plotter combination with 5 inch screen, Navionics and other recent vector charts. Raymarine Plotter in cockpit.There are 2 inverters installed: a small one of 500 watt to feed the Starlink router and antenna and a 2000 watt, both Victron. There is an Eno oven with 2 burners, a coffee machine, toaster and a vacuum cleaner. In the cockpit an electric winch, navigation instruments, Raymarine plotter and autopilot. Also a Raymarine radar, a Starlink moving antenna and solar panels on an arch. Recent bimini, a sprayhood cockpit, cushions and a Zodiac 2.70 Cadet dinghy with Yamaha 2.5 hp outboard.

The second owner was an Irish national who did not sail a lot, but invested in a new bigger engine.

I am the third owner and after a trip from Thessaloniki tot Messolongi (western Greece), I decided to sell her because it turned out that I am not the right person for this boat to sail single handed. This because of my age and restricted mobility
