In 1994, British Hunter introduced the new Ranger 265. The range was designed by David Thomas, and they have great stability due to the hull having long waterlines and the existence of a subtle chine. This meant the boats are extremely good at holding to a straight line. The bilge-keel versions have an extremely high angle of vanishing stability, 147°.
