Description

A true classic - this Koopmans 42 is turning heads in every marina she visits.

"Puffin" was designed by D. Koopmans Sr. in the Netherlands, based on No. 139 Bylgia - the first Dutch yacht to sail single-handed around the world from east to west.

She has an aluminum hull, a teak superstructure, and a beautifully crafted teak interior.

She arrived from Lelystad to my shipyard in Hungary two years ago for full restoration.

3500 working hours. This is how much time it took us to fully refit her. We used thousands of screws, 900 meters of cables, 20 liters of paint, 15 liters of varnish, and took care of countless details. Last but not least, we also changed her engine to a brand new Sole Diesel, and changed all electrical wire to a tind electrical wire.

The boat is currently in Poros Island, in Greece, where we used it with my family. It is time to move on and thus we offer her for sale.
